Armada Hotel is located in the old City of Istanbul and on
the very site of the quarters that Grand Admiral Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha had built for his crew in the 16th century,
5 minutes walk from the major attractions as the Agia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, the
underground cistern and the museum of Mosaics, while the Archaeological museum is at 10 minutes walk and the airport
15 km away.
The hotel is decorated in Ottoman style, offering an elegant blend of the past with the features and the facilities
of modern times.
The rooms, decorated in the Ottoman style with traditional Edirnekari woodwork
painting, are a graceful blend of past and present and offer all modern amenities; central heating and cooling,
direct dial telephone, minibar, cable television,hair dryers and private safety boxes. There are 110 rooms, 16
of which are interconnected and 2 are fully equipped for wheelchair access.
The magnificent views can also be enjoyed during the winter in the glassed-in
Sera Restaurant on the terrace which serves traditional Istanbul cuisine in a beautiful setting. The Sera can accommodate
80 people for dinner and 120 people for cocktail arrangements.
